At Sumi Wellness, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because our products are skincare and personal-care products, we take hygiene and product safety seriously.
This policy applies to purchases made through our website and is subject to applicable South African consumer-protection legislation.
1. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, faulty or contains an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
Please email the following information to info@sumi-wellness.online:
- Your order number.
- A description of the problem.
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging, where applicable.
Please contact us before returning any product so that we can advise you on the appropriate procedure.
We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with applicable consumer-protection legislation.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act.
2. Products That Do Not Suit Your Skin
We understand that skincare products may not suit everyone’s individual skin.
We cannot offer a discretionary refund solely because a product does not suit your skin, where the product has been opened or used and is not defective.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
3. Returns and Refunds
All returns and refund requests will be assessed individually and handled in accordance with applicable South African consumer-protection legislation.
Where a refund or replacement is required by law, we will arrange the appropriate remedy.
Return shipping costs will be handled in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
4. Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within two hours of placing your order.
We will make every reasonable effort to cancel the order before it has been processed, packed or dispatched.
Once an order has been processed, packed or handed over to the courier, cancellation may no longer be possible through our ordinary cancellation process.
This does not affect any statutory cancellation or return rights that may apply to your purchase.
